[NATURE TRACK] Water Flow

Broadcast
Space to play or pause, M to mute, left and right arrows to seek, up and down arrows for volume.
A dark scene, a person in the distance with a torch illuminating gum trees and tall grasses. It looks cold and wet.
In the twilight, the frogs start to call on a cold night in Western Victoria.(Corey Hague)

No music, no voices, just the sound of a stream and frogs calling on a still, cool night in regional Victoria.

It is a still, cold night, with moonlight flooding the landscape of Wadawurrung country. Big, old candlebarks are standing still and silent and a creek winds through a shallow valley. Grasses grow up to the waist through the whole valley, or they would if the kangaroos would stop nibbling them. And within the sedges, on the edges of a creek, lurk frogs who revel in the still night, the cold air and the perfect opportunity to sing for a mate.

For now we’re calling this experiment in long nature sounds 'Nature Track' and you can find the sounds right here in the Off Track podcast feed.
You can also stream them whenever you want, and even loop them to play all night or all day over at the ABC Science Channel in a special playlist called: Nature Track.
